Account and data deletion

Delete your VBall AI account

VBall AI users can permanently delete their account and associated data from the Android app or request deletion by email.

Last updated: 5 August 2026

Delete your account in the app

Sign in to VBall AI with your Google account, then follow this route:

  1. Open Profile.
  2. Select Account.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Review the deletion information and confirm.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Request deletion without app access

If you no longer have access to the app, you can request deletion by email. Contact us using the same Google account or email address that you used to sign in to VBall AI.

Email: privacy@vballai.com
Suggested subject: Account deletion request

Clearly state that you want your VBall AI account and associated data deleted. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.

Data that is deleted

Deleting your VBall AI account removes the account and data associated with it, including:

  • Your Firebase Authentication account used for Google Sign-In.
  • Your VBall AI backend user record and account role.
  • Your beta usage periods, remaining analysis credits and linked credit adjustments.
  • Account feedback records linked to your account.
  • Local analysis history on the device when deletion is completed in the app.
  • Local profile preferences, onboarding state and authentication session on the device.

The backend uses a durable pending-deletion process. If a backend deletion step fails temporarily, it is retained as pending and retried so the request can be completed.

For an email deletion request, server-side account data is deleted after verification. Local app data remains under your control on the device; you can remove it by clearing VBall AI app storage or uninstalling the app.

Uploaded and derived analysis media

When you request an analysis, the original clip you select is uploaded once over HTTPS to the VBall AI video processor for server-side action selection and frame extraction. The original clip, candidate frames, contact sheets, context or dense frames, final selected frames and any shortened action clip are temporarily written under a unique analysis work directory. That complete directory is deleted after processing, whether the analysis succeeds or fails. Crash remnants older than one hour are removed automatically. VBall AI does not permanently store these media files in its backend database.

Current early access uses Gemini 3.6 Flash through a paid Google AI project, not the free Gemini API tier. Depending on the analysis mode, a shortened, compressed action clip—normally no more than approximately four seconds, up to 720p and without audio—may be sent directly to Google Gemini for video-native analysis. For frame selection, verification and fallback, contact sheets, selected frames, context frames and player or analysis context may be sent to the AI provider configured for that step, currently Google Gemini and, only where configured as a fallback, OpenAI. The media sent therefore depends on the requested analysis mode and processing step.

Technical data that may remain temporarily

Backend analysis_jobs records are used for operational reliability, troubleshooting and service observability and are normally deleted after 30 days. When an account is deleted earlier, these records are anonymized by removing the user relationship (user_id = null), so they are no longer linked to the deleted VBall AI account.

Operational server logs are rotated after 14 days. Validated analysis results, but not media files, may remain in Worker or Cloudflare Cache for up to 30 days under the current configuration. External Gemini and any configured OpenAI fallback handling is governed by the active project configuration and applicable provider terms; VBall AI does not claim guaranteed zero retention.

Release builds use Firebase Crashlytics for crash, non-fatal error and ANR diagnostics; this integration is active and operationally verified. VBall AI does not attach your email address or display name to these reports. Google states that Crashlytics crash data and associated installation identifiers are retained for 90 days before removal begins from live and backup systems. Account deletion therefore does not immediately remove existing Crashlytics diagnostics.

Processing time

In-app deletion is initiated when you confirm the request. Verified email deletion requests are processed as soon as reasonably possible and within 30 days. We will contact you if we need additional information to verify the request.
